Working in the space we do, a lot of opportunities and ideas fly around on the daily. One of our biggest (and most fun) challenges is deciding which ones to channel our energy into. In our experience, when you have a solid and trusting partnership in place, a concept can evolve seamlessly from inspiration to activation - which is why throwing a Welcome to Summer pool party at Bounce Noosa was an absolute no-brainer for us.
We’ve been working with the team at boutique holiday chain Bounce Australia for a while now, building a strong relationship which has been the basis of some very cool projects (see our collab range and our ever expanding range of destination tees) and many more in the pipeline. With their epic poolside sundeck and bar making waves around Noosa and beyond, we had floated the idea of a collab pool party coming into summer, and with such a willing and flexible venue partner, the journey to activating this event was an absolute dream.
We tapped industry disruptors Pals for an alcohol sponsorship, offering the fast-growing Kiwi seltzer brand a highly targeted sampling opportunity as they expand into the Australian market. The event delivered two valuable audiences: our influential crew of clients, designers and suppliers, and Bounce’s guests, who tend to skew more affluent than the typical low-budget traveller. With its affordable stays and on-trend tropical aesthetic, Bounce attracts influencers from around the world - making any event there a guaranteed generator of elevated, organic user-generated content.
The party was an absolute banger, delivering on all fronts. The poolside DJ brought full summer dancefloor energy, and our custom-built Noosa Vibe House signage complete with basketball hoop - perfect for shot comps - saw the party move into the pool as the sun dipped over the palm trees. We leveraged our relationship with the team at New York Minute Burgers to deliver not only catering for the event but also a fully loaded afterparty - the perfect kick-on after the sunset session by the pool.
The energy was unmatched, our guests and sponsors were fizzing, and the Bounce team were pumped on the vibe we created for their guests. With several more events and projects already underway, we can't wait to see where our partnership with Bounce is going to take us next! One thing is for sure, the vibes are always flowing when we team up with this crew.
